Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Yessh, who was born on 17th October, 1992 in the Indian state of, is an actress in film. Keerthy has mainly appeared in Tamil and Telugu cinema along with several films in Malayalam. She won the National Film Award for Best Actress as the actress Savitri in Mahanati, a Telugu movie Mahanati (2018). She has also won three SIIMA Awards as well as an Filmfare Award South. Keerthy is the child of film producer G. Suresh Kumar and actress Menaka G. Suresh. Her early career was as an actor for children. Later, after studying Fashion Design, she was back to acting. The year 2013 was the last time she played the lead in Geethaanjali, a Malayalam-language film. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Her first film outside of Malayalam was Idhu Enna Maayam (2015) with Vikram Prabhu. It was not a success at the box office. In 2015 she released A. L. Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam and Vikramprabhu against one another. However, the films did not do well in the cinemas. A busy schedule during 2015 led her decide to pull out of projects that she was already making, such as Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye as well as Deekay's Kavalai Vendam in order to make room for larger projects. The result was that she made two films together with Sivakarthikeyan within a short time, Rajini Murugan and Remo, while also playing the lead character in Prabhu Solomon's Thodari and Dhanush.Her Telugu debut was planned to release in Ainaa Ishtam Nuvvu. But, the movie has been delayed since 2015, with the possibility of release in September, 2020 with a brand name change to Janakitho Nenu. In the end, the film's debut was the 2016 film Nenu Sailaja featuring actress Ram Pothineni. Keerthy was cast as Vijay In Bairavaa by Bharathan, which premiered on the 17th of January, 2017. She also appeared as a character in Tamil film Paambhu sattai and Telugu film Nenu Local in 2017.
