Avery Sunshine
Avery Sunshine, a singer-composer well-known for his distinctive mix of soul gospel jazz R&B as well as R&B. The singer's career has taken her from Broadway to European events and clubs, to even at the Democratic National Convention. Sunshine's real name is Denise White. Though she's located in Atlanta but her origins are situated in Chester Pennsylvania. There she started to pursue the musical profession by performing and singing at church. Her music career started in Atlanta at Spellman College. The first song to feature her voice was called Stalk You the Japanese version of 12 song. It has been remixed and a component of her repertoire. She has also contributed her singing on The Fighting Temptations' soundtrack. In 2005 she took on the role of the drummer in Tyler Perry's stage show Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday, who won Tony and Grammy Awards for her vocals, asked Sunshine to join the Dreamgirls production at the Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine was at the center of attention for America during the four performances per day at the 2008 Democratic National Convention. Sunshine then went on to be asked to sing in the presence of the President Barack Obama at his inauguration.
